Golden Plovers, Lapwings and Starlings, silhouetted at sunset!

It was a clear afternoon today and I was passing RSPB Greylake as the sun was setting, so I popped in to take some pictures of the reeds in the golden backlight. The last car was pulling out of the car-park as I pulled in. As the light fades everyone usually leaves, but they are missing out on a beautiful scene, as Greylake sunsets are stunning. This evening it was even better than usual, as just as the sun was disappearing hundreds of Golden Plovers and Lapwings flew across the sun to their roosting sites...closely followed by thousands of Starlings on their way to nearby RSPB Ham Wall.
I grabbed some photo's of the scene, a very pleasant 15 minutes, before continuing my home as darkness fell.
