Diving Robin, Moorhens doing Peacock impressions and Tits, Finches and Starlings galore!

Happy New Year everyone! :D
2019 started in much the same way as 2018 ended, with me photographing little common birds, either out of my kitchen window or down the at RSPB Greylake.
I haven't gone very far afield so far, although I did visit the coast at Portishead and photographed some different birds, such as Rock Pipit, Pochard, Linnets and Moorhens, who looked quite amusing when a breeze behind them caused their feathers to flay, resembling a kind of small displaying Peacock!! :D
One of my photo's, a diving Robin from Greylake, was shared on BBC Earths Twitter account and was also one of the Photo's of the Week at Bird Guides HERE

I also started my new photographic Year List for birds seen in 2019.
The list and photo's can be viewed HERE and will be regularly updated as the year goes on.

I aim to beat last years total of 162 species, which will be a tough challenge!
I'm currently on a pretty miserly 39, but the year is young! :)

Below are all the pics taken so far this year, starting with the diving Robin pic mentioned above.
Thank you all for reading and viewing!
